It was over a year ago, I had forgotten about it until the guys on Fan960 brought it up this morning. I doubt it's a factor tonight, the last time these two teams played each other was November 2017. We stood up to San Jose alright on Monday, I think we'll be fine with this lineup against Detroit.

I think he just tweaked something in Canucks game. He was seen flexing he knee noticeably after a save mid game. He played the sharks so I’m assuming it’s just lingering a bit.

We have to avoid

A: playing down to our opposition

B: getting off to a slow start

C: putting in a half asś effort because it’s Detroit

Obviously McDavid is a great player...Gaudreau doesn't seem to get the credit he deserves though sometimes
